Since it's so difficult to find songs on YouTube because of copyright constraints, I've created a 100 Songs Playlist.

This is so NOT the right pic for me to upload today. Probably because in recent years I've come out of my shell and stopped being an observer and more of a doer. I am no longer the young heart staring out at the dance floor, but I've started joining the other hearts in their dances. I can't really say as though I've found my "other," but it's a start, and I'm rather proud of myself for that.

I guess I should explain... as far back as I can remember, it seemed to me as though I was a single in a world of pairs. My mother had my father, my brothers had each other, all my friends had someone, but I was always a single; a third wheel at best. For the most part, I don't have any problem with being a single, but once in a great while, it would bother me. So here we see little Koro watching the pairs dance together, but she has no "other" she can dance with.
For a while, I played with the idea that hearts had to fly in pairs. One heart would have a wing on the right, the other on the left. They needed each other to fly. That is why Koro's wing is on the floor. She doesn't have her right wing with her, so to speak.

Another old pic, but I just happened to stumble across it. Turns out I had almost completely finished it and forgot about it. So I finally put the finishing touches on it, and here it is.
Again, this has become less true since I drew it in 2006, but I still rather liked it.

This isn't my favorite A.F.I. song, but I've always been fascinated by it's meaning, or rather, my interpretation of it.
