Well, as many of you know, today is September 11th. If you're American, I'm sure that date has a meaning to you, whether it brings you rage against Bush or sadness because you lost someone close to you due to the attacks. Whatever the reason, lets just hope things'll turn out for the better and this whole "war on terror" thing will end. XP It's really giving us Americans a bad reputation.
However, it has occured to me that if Bush wins the election and continues with this war, it might get bad enough where they might start drafting. I also heard they might start drafting women too. This worries me greatly, especially since I'm nearing that age and I know quite a few people who might end up being drafted. O__o; Many people say not to worry, but those telling me to chill are usually over 40. Sure YOU may not be worried, but me? I'm gonna panic all I want and you can't stop me! Nyah! XP
Me and Fox were talking about this one day and he came to me one day telling me that depressed people were ineligable for draft. I then thought of this and thought I could draw it as my own way of preserving this day, for this year at least. Perhaps I'll do another one next year with a different theme depending on what happens between now and then.
I decided to use some of my oldest original characters and tried to give them the authentic "Sunday Comic" feeling. I hope I did alright. Well that's why I post so I can hear all of your opinions!
XD This definatly looks like something I would do! Well I refuse to fight in a war for reasons I don't agree to. I'll be Canadian before that happens! X3
great job cinda! your voicing my fear as well! me being a male and already had to send in my "selective service" card aka draft card when i turned 18. and there is muc thoughts that if bush is relected then there is a chance the draft will go through, and there are many supporters in congress for it. so we will have to see.

Never heard of being depressed will get ya out. Hmm.. interesting. Although, I really doubt that there will be a draft we still have a lot of people training and a good number of people joining. My bro is in the navy so I get the info sometimes. As for Bush, I can't say much since I am able to vote and I plan on going his route. I can go on in debating.. but I wont.
cinda darling this is fantastic! this DOES remind me of a newpaper comic! only with more flavor! its great i love it!!!! lol id like to see them draft depressed people....or me..they aint takin me alive!
