In light of the holiday spirit, instead of spamming your inboxes with "I am thankful for blah, blah, blah," I would like to share a little story I heard yesterday for you. I thought it would be appropriate...

SO! Once upon a time, there was a Buddhist monk's apprentice who inquired his master about the nature of Heaven and Hell. The monk said to think as Hell as a place where there's an incredible bounty of food. However, everyone has very long forearms. No matter how hard the people try to feed themselves, they couldn't get it into their mouths and they starved to death over and over again.
In Heaven, it's the same setup. Banquet of wonderful food, everyone has long forearms. However, instead of using their forearms to feed themselves, they use them to feed each other.

At least I think that's how it goes. Either way, it gives you something to think about.

Why did you join this site?
Same reason many people do... because all my friends were joining. I recall ~shiftymoof telling me to do it and I was looking for a new art site to go to since Side 7 wanted me to pay for an account.

What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
Originally, I started using it when I was a huge Zim fantard and Cinda 7 was the name of my fancharacter. I stole it from the Pokemon name "Cyndaquil." Somehow it just stuck.

What is your current icon of?
It was made by the awesome *NO-Body-The-Dragon. I can animate sprites for squat. I think it's almost a year old now, but I still love it to death.

How many watchers do you have and how many people are you currently watching?
482 people watch me, but only a handful comment regularly. (Thank you, by the way!) I watch 143 people, but many of those are dead accounts and clubs.

Do you have more than one account?
Nope. Never had a club, never changed accounts. I'm boring, I know.

What deviant do you admire because of their personality?
Personality, eh? Mmmm, hard to say. People irritate the crap out of me. Buuuut, since she was kind enough to mention me, I'd have to say =Candy2021 has been fantastic to me. She might not post things on-time, but remembers my birthday and still draws birthday pics for me and random giftart which is more than I can say about many people.
*TonyK-Lyne is another pal who has been such an absolute sweetheart to me. He's been so great to me since we met at A-Kon last year, and I can't thank him enough for that.

I try to at least keep it balanced. I don't always fave, and I don't comment as much as I'd like to, but I try to at least write out thoughtful comments when I can.

Finished art. I don't post sketches as often as I should. But among my artistic monstrosities are demons, anthros, comics, fanart, and a few humans tossed in.

When I can, I will. I don't do it as much as I could.

EVERYTHING!!! But to be more specific: anatomy, perspective, backgrounds... those are the biggies.

Not anymore. I miss my subby, but I'm too cheap to get a new one.

How many hours a day do you spend on DA?
If it's a work day... maybe one. But when I've got more free time, I can easily spend 5+ hours just surfing through different galleries with a million tabs open, making my computer BEG for mercy.

Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
I can type with entirely my left hand, and I'm still pretty accurate and quick. When I type with both hands, I can type at an incredible rate.

What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
Pretty much "draw my character and do it for free and for nothing in return! And do it NAO!" And to "please visit my gallery/comment of my stuff." If I find a reason to comment, I'll comment. Please don't come to my gallery and beg for attention.

What is the most annoying comment you get?
"KAWAII!" or "CUTE!!!one". Things along those lines.

What inspires you?
Music, other artists, movies. Whatever I can draw inspiration from.

Do you use any traditional media?
Yes, yes, and yes. I haven't too recently because I spend a lot of time doing homework on the comp, but if you give me some Crayolas, cheap computer paper, and free time, I can go nuts.

Do you associate people online with their icons?
Very frequently, yes. Though if they change their icons often, it's hard to do so.

Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Honestly? No, not really. dA has become such a hardcore addiction that I can't imagine living without it for longer than a week. It's where I come to get inspired, connect with people, get advice on my art, leave advice on other people's art, and what have you.

And school starts on Monday.

DO NOT WANT!

You know what THAT means, children. Art will not come as often (though I WILL get those trades done!), I'll be VERY inactive on the Internet, I'll get skinny again from lack of sleep and food, and there's a good chance I'll be JUST AS if not MORE miserable than I was last semester.



Thank god this is my last year, because I'm already at my wit's end.
